Proud of the Homeland by Almas Smajlović
To me, when I say homeland, it is its endless diversity in every sense, which is its greatest strength and beauty. The people I meet and get to know every day is what fulfills me. I've been away a lot, both for short and long periods, I can't wait to leave, but as soon as I leave here for a very short period of time, I can't wait to come back. That's really the paradox. Love is the one that should bind us all together, and not only love for our neighbor and friend, but also love for our homeland, from where we will throw a cigarette butt or chewing gum to some big things.
