BASIC BIOGRAPHICAL DATA
Born in Kiseljak in 1964, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He completed his primary and secondary education in Kiseljak. He spent the war period in the wartime Hospital "Ćamil Marić" in Hrasnica as assistant director, and then in the position of Health Officer "104 Motorized Brigade" Ilidža. The acquisition of academic education went from the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Sarajevo through the University of Life Sciences (UMB) AS - Norway to the Faculty of Agriculture and Food of the University of Sarajevo as follows: Graduated from the Veterinary Faculty of Sarajevo. Worked as an assistant at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Sarajevo in the field of Obstetrics and Reproduction of domestic animals from 1996 to 2002. Graduated from the postgraduate study Domestic Animal Reproduction in 2000-2002 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Sarajevo. Second postgraduate study from 2002-2004 completed and master's degree at the University of Life Sciences (UMB) As - Norway. He did and defended his doctoral thesis in 2011 at the Faculty of Agriculture and Food, University of Sarajevo. He currently works as a full professor in the field of Standardization and Product Quality Control. Holder and participant in classes at undergraduate, master's and doctoral study programs: Food Technologies, Nutrition, Zootechnics and Agro-Industry Economics at the Faculty of Agriculture and Food, University of Sarajevo. In his scientific work so far, he has written and published more than 100 professional and scientific papers as an author or co-author. Presented and published the same at domestic and foreign symposia, conferences, congresses and other scientific and educational conferences. Works were published in refereed domestic and foreign journals as well as in professional literature. Participant in more than 30 scientific and professional gatherings in the country and abroad, where he alone or as a co-author presented works and achievements in science and the profession. As the first author, he wrote and published three faculty books and a chapter in the fourth. As a coordinator or team member, he participated in about 20 scientific projects of local and international character and more than 25 professional projects in the country and abroad. Expert member of the interdepartmental working group for the development of implementing regulations of the Rulebook on Food Hygiene and the Rulebook on the Hygiene of Food of Animal Origin for Human Consumption, all within the Food Safety Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Member and coordinator of the international "Food microbiology teachers global network" since 2016 for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Member of the Board of Directors and Board of Directors of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food in Sarajevo. Member of the Board of Directors of the Center for Rural Development Kupres. Director of the Institute for Technology of Agricultural and Food Products. Senior expert of the European Commission on the OPERA Project - Implementation of Good Production, Hygiene, Farming, Veterinary and Sales Practices in Food Production in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Food Safety Advisor SGS. Served as director of the Institute for Food Technology in two terms from 2016-2020. Member of the Organizing Committee of the 1st International Conference on Chemo and Bioinformatics in Kragujevac in 2022. Member of the Organizing Committee of the International Conference of Agriculture and Food Industry in Sarajevo 2019. Member of the Organizing Committee of the CEE Food Conference in Sarajevo in 2021. Member of the Organizing Committee of the International Conference of Agriculture and Food Industry in Sarajevo in 2017. Member of the Organizing Committee of the 1st Student Congress in Sarajevo in 2016. Member of the Organizing Committee of the II Student Congress in Sarajevo in 2017. Member of several work commissions and commissions for the selection of employees at the Faculty. As a coordinator and team member participating in the work of four projects, mainly projects of international importance (CEEPUS, HORIZON, Partnerships EU and CITESS) implemented mainly by the EU. Reviewed several college and university books, was a reviewer of several domestic papers, Permanent reviewer of international journals: Horizon Research Publishing, USA http://www.hrpub.org/ and International Journal of Food and Nutrition Sciences www.premierpublishers.org for which he reviewed more papers. Work on projects in the food industry to improve production in several domestic companies (Noa water tap - Bugojno, AKOVA IMPEX, AS Jelah, Fine Food, Vispak, Brovis, MI Šišović, MI Bajra, KLAS mills, Ljubače mill, etc.) .
