Proud of the homeland Maja Čengić
I love Bosnia and Herzegovina because of the good people who live in it. Because there are still people in Bosnia and Herzegovina who, despite all the problems and adversities, despite all the economic and political turmoil and pressures, managed to remain good people. Because in Bosnia and Herzegovina, there are still neighbors to whom you can ring the doorbell at any time of the day or night and ask for a cup of milk or sugar that you forgot to buy the day before. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, there are still neighbors who will alarm you in time that a spider is coming to lift your car even though, let's be honest, you parked improperly. Because in Bosnia and Herzegovina there are still drivers who respect the right of way when a pedestrian crosses at a pedestrian crossing. Because in Bosnia and Herzegovina there are still gentlemen who will help you carry the stroller with your baby up the stairs. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, there are still salesmen and saleswomen who, despite the fact that they have not received their salary for the previous three months, welcome you every day with a smile and greeting and still help you pack the groceries you have bought. Because in Bosnia and Herzegovina there are still people who celebrate all religious holidays together. There are still people in Bosnia and Herzegovina who do not judge you or your child just because of the name they carry. That's why I love Bosnia and Herzegovina.
