We should remain calm – we have a state that cares about its citizens.
Our appeal is clear – we need to prepare with dignity and peace. Institutions are doing their job. The state that we created on March 1, 1992 and defended with blood, is ready, equipped with lives, the experience we have with the violent is great and cannot be forgotten.
Dodik must provoke a conflict this spring or there will be none next. For him, it is a matter of life and death. Dodik is a political robot on rails, he will be pushed in only one direction - towards conflict.
We appeal to our public to be careful about provocations/disinformation. The entire area of Bosnia and Herzegovina is covered with propaganda, fake news that produces tensions and hoaxes that hide real intentions. For example - Hungarian special forces led by Orban's bodyguard are not in Bosnia and Herzegovina to prevent Dodik's arrest and to transfer him to Hungary.
Unfortunately, our media and partly our institutions have fallen for the deception served in this way. A special unit of the Hungarian police is in Bosnia and Herzegovina to prevent the takeover of the Brčko District by the Federation police forces in the event of a conflict. The Americans know this too, which is why the supervisor spoke out, to point out that a legal decision will invalidate the eventual factual situation.
The Brčko District is a key strategic location that prevents the further development of Russian, Hungarian and Serbian interventionism. Its importance in the current Western Balkans can be compared to the importance of West Berlin in the former Cold War, bloc division of the world.
The bridge in Brčko will not be demolished, regardless of the rumors that spread panic. Around Bosnia and in Bosnia itself, there are strong domestic and foreign forces that closely follow the insane line of secessionist logic.
Brčko, Drina, Srebrenica, everything Bosnian, all next to each other, but in this area Orban, Vučić and even Putin himself are currently playing operational games - each for their own internal reasons - which ultimately boil down to their own selfish satisfaction at the expense of others. Dodik is just a pawn, we need to remain prepared and calm.
We hope that Croatia is mindful of Orban's intentions and the secret and public moves he is making against Croatia, that they are mindful of the long and difficult history they had with Pest, then of empty Slavonia, the aforementioned 70 kilometers from the Hungarian border - across Slavonia - to the Sava, but also that they remember Stjepan Mesić's advice, for example about Brčko.
The message to our fellow Serbs, Orthodox Christians is - stay here, we are working together on a better life together. Numbers are a powerful means of persuasion, numbers show that there are fewer of us and that we are getting poorer. Stay with us, we want a life in which we will together commemorate Aleksa Šantić and Duško Bajević, Branko Ćopić and both Bogdans - Bogdanović and Tanjević and Dobrilo Kalaba... And all the others about whom a song should be written and a story told.
The Netherlands is smaller in area than Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a population of 18 million. Belgium is smaller than BiH, with 12 million inhabitants. Switzerland is also smaller than BiH, with 9 million inhabitants. All smaller in area than us, and we in BiH - despite being a beautiful and, in the future, rich country, in the self-destructive onslaught of a projected self-sufficient and rich scoundrel, will decimate ourselves at the expense of others and leave a demographic desert.
Dodik started secession, secession is a conflict by definition, we should remain calm and believe in our state, and also respond when the state calls us.
