President of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmus, during his stay in Sarajevo, met with the leadership of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Emphasizing that it was an extremely useful and constructive meeting of the parliamentary delegations of the two countries, Kurtulmus said that Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina are not only countries that have good relations due to geographical proximity, but also two countries that have deep historical and cultural ties and sincere friendship between their peoples.
"I want to say that we agree to continue the path of strengthening our relations and ties in all fields even more seriously in the coming period. We want all our joint projects to be implemented as soon as possible, primarily the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway, and we believe that this will be beneficial for the security and stability of the region. We agree and intend to further strengthen our ties and cooperation in all fields, including investments, trade, tourism and culture," Kurtulmus said.
