Irena Hadžiabdić will be the president of the CEC from January 1, 2024.
The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina conducted the procedure for the election of the President of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The choice was made from among the others. The decision was made that the duties of the president of the CEC will be performed by Irena Hadžiabdić from January 1, 2024.
The current president of the CEC, Suad Arnautović, thanked his colleagues for their contribution to successfully bring his mandate to an end, from April 1, 2022 to today.
Arnutović singled out "the organization and implementation of the General Elections in BiH in 2022 as the most significant activity.
