Komšić and Bećirović spoke with Kurti
On the sidelines of the International Humanitarian Conference for Gaza, in Paris, BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić and Presidency member Denis Bećirović met with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti. "We discussed the importance of the full implementation of the Berlin Process agreement, especially the free movement with ID cards, and we explored further cooperation," Kurti commented on the meeting.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has not ratified the agreement on movement with identity cards only, reached a year ago in Berlin between the countries of the Western Balkans. From January 2024, citizens of Kosovo will be able to move freely to the countries of the European Union, but it is still not certain when they will be able to travel visa-free to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Apart from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina is the only country in the region that does not recognize the independence of Kosovo and the only country in the region that has a visa regime with Kosovo.
