Prof. Ph.D. Safet Kapo,
born on March 17, 1969 in Hrenovica (Municipality of Pale Prača), he is a regular professor at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of the University of Sarajevo, where he teaches martial arts and participates in the development of modern diagnostic methods in sports. He graduated in 1999, his master's degree in 2002, and his doctorate in 2006, with numerous awards for his scientific and research work in the fields of kinesiology, sports management, safety and functional diagnostics. As a trainer and founder of the KBA club "ORKAN - F", he achieved notable results in martial arts with top competitors in K-1, boxing, kickboxing and Thai boxing. He has extensive experience in the field of security, where he held various functions in FMUP, including inspection supervision and intelligence work. He is the author of seven university textbooks and over 110 scientific papers, and is an active participant and organizer of international conferences. His contribution includes the education of coaches, the development of postural diagnostics, the improvement of motor skills of children and young people, safety strategies, and the promotion of sports and social values through numerous projects.
