Aida Spahić

Proud of the homeland Aida Spahić

I love Bosnia and Herzegovina because of all the diversity that exists in my country. I love it because once upon a time in one of his poems, Nedžad Ibrišimović said ".. Bosnia is covered with a carpet..." – there are all kinds of us, and in fact we all belong to Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are positive in that we are rich in spirit, we are positive in that we have risen from the ashes, that we have been strong when it is the hardest, and it is quite certain that we will get out of it now. I'm proud of all our golden boys, I'm proud of all the people who make up BiH. These are the people I love, these are the people who are successful and who show how much they care about this country, because in fact successful people are the best ambassadors of a country. And they have shown how strong we can be and I can say with a full heart that I am glad to be a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. When it was the hardest, I didn't go, so I don't think so now. All the mosques we have, synagogues, churches and cathedrals, that's what makes us special, you can see this only in one place – in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I don't think I could find anywhere else than in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is quite certain that it will be better because we have young people who want to make Bosnia a strong, stable and good country.
