In Sarajevo's Cathedral of the Heart of Jesus, the biggest Catholic holiday, Christmas, was celebrated with a solemn mass
Catholic holiday Christmas celebrated in Sarajevo. The Mass, which was led by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Vrhbosna and the Apostolic Administrator of the Military Ordinariate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Monsignor Tomo Vukšić, was attended by a large number of believers with friends and family.
"Each time had its challenges, anxieties, trials and problems, and even tragedies. Unfortunately, no generation of people spared themselves that. But of all that, man experiences the torments that afflict him personally and his contemporaries the hardest. Because what belonged to earlier generations exists in us only in the form of memory and lasts in the form of memories kept by individuals, families, nations or archives and scientific studies", explained Vukšić.
