- Not so long ago in 2012, on December 29, the World Bosniak Congress was founded. Academician Reisu-l-ulema Mustafa Cerić was elected president of the Congress at the founding Assembly, academician Muamer Zukorlić was elected president of the Assembly, Haris Hromić, Mirza Šabić and Mevlida Serdarević were vice-presidents, and Mirsad Čaušević was elected president of the Executive Council, and the Assembly also appointed 30 members of the Senate. of the World Bosniak Congress. The constitution of all organs of the SBK soon followed. The ambitious project of establishing an umbrella organization of the Bosniak people, which aims to achieve full freedom for Bosniaks in the homeland and in the diaspora, to preserve and affirm the unique Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to contribute to regional and international peace, was then met with wholehearted support, but also with resistance and denial, as well as inherited problems from recent and further history. However, despite the fact of negation and resistance and the challenges that the World Bosniak Congress faced, today we can still talk about the most important projects and activities that were realized in the previous 10 years. The leadership of the Congress, led by academician Cerić and academician Zukorlić, with associates and friends of Bosniak institutions, respected general secretary dr. Tarik Kurbegović and the then president of the Bosniak National Foundation, Mr. Hako Duljević, he established a network of Bosniak institutions in all parts of the world where the Bosniak community was formed, while the authorities dealt with the most important social issues, through the determination of strategic directions and principles of operational action. SBK formed the Forum of Bosniak Intellectuals, which held more than fifty forums where crucial issues and problems of Bosniaks and Bosnia and Herzegovina were discussed, then the Forum of Young Bosniak Intellectuals, as well as the Commission for Monitoring the State of the Nation, which annually prepared reports on the state of the nation. nations. With the support and cooperation of 30 Bosniak organizations, the World Bosniak Congress contributed to the implementation of the population census campaign in 2013, and then published the Proclamation on respect for the fundamental rights of Bosniaks on the occasion of the census of the population, households and apartments in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to the proclamation, when it comes to strategic national plans and programs, in addition to the Founding Declaration, the Program Charter and the document SBK - How and Why, the Declaration of the World Bosniak Congress on Common Security and Global Citizenship was presented, and in the context of the defense and preservation of every inch of our homeland, it speaks and the program of the petition against the referendum and the request that the smaller BiH the RS entity respects the highest state court decisions on the equality of all citizens in our country. In addition to all of the above that has been written in the history of the Congress, we are happy today that the process bearers gathered around the national institutions based in Sarajevo, started, followed, and realized the project of building the Bosniak Cultural Center in Srebrenica, the Science Center in Novi Pazar, the Bosniak Palace in Malmö, Sweden, the Cave Gate, which is still under construction as the most modern Islamic center in the Balkans, and we are currently in the phase of securing the permanent seat of national institutions in Sarajevo, called the BANU Center. For these results we owe thanks to dear God, our dear friend rahm. We express our special gratitude to Mufti Academician Zukorlić, respected reisulemi academician Cerić, associates, members, sympathizers, and especially to the Bosniak diaspora for their care and material assistance for the development of Bosniak national institutions in the hope that the Bosniak diaspora will continue to be a good example for Bosniaks in every respect. By holding today's Assembly, we want to strengthen the idea of achieving the basic goals of the World Bosniak Congress. Through the promotion of true values, true ideas and the selfless commitment and effort of each individual to reach the final goal, which is the affirmation of Bosniak society, culture, faith and values into one healthy whole that will proudly and freely step into the future, building a new history, strengthening the state, institutions and society without forgetting who we are and where we came from. In this way, we restore the full dignity and reputation of every Bosniak, wherever he is. Emphasizing the importance of individual engagement, we invite you to continue to jointly build and develop the World Bosniak Congress and be promoters of the mentioned values. We must not remain lost in time and space, we must not console ourselves that we were once a great banovina, a kingdom and be satisfied with that. After centuries of various occupations, persecutions, genocides that the Bosniaks went through, we finally have a sovereign state and we must fight to build and strengthen it so that our descendants can learn about us as a generation of winners and reformers. Hard times have always produced strong people, and if we don't use the knowledge and ability of people born in the most difficult and repressive times who managed to provide us with this piece of land, called the homeland, I'm afraid that we'll be waiting for a new generation for a long time if we miss this opportunity. Finally, the basis of Bosniak survival is reflected in unity, universal moral principles, diligence and persistence. If we do not live and promote these qualities in our homes, in our neighborhoods, in politics, in state institutions, we cannot expect anyone to impose them on us. The idea is carried, nurtured and lives within us, because as you radiate, so you attract. We radiate kindness, honesty, courage, sincerity and love. May we always be full of Bosnia and may Bosnia always be full of us. – was highlighted in the introductory part of the Assembly.
