The "Velagićevina" complex is located in Blagaj near Mostar
The natural and architectural complex of the Velagić family, in Blagaj near Mostar, was built in 1776. Complex was built as three separate units, for the three Velagić brothers, on a branch of the Buna river, on the river peninsula, under the road leading to Blagaj tekija. The complex is located about 200 meters downstream from the source of the Buna and was declared a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2004.
"The complex is separated from the outside world by its location, the residential buildings are oriented towards the courtyard and open to the natural environment. The entire complex is surrounded by a stone wall about 2 m high, which separates the houses with courtyards from the public."
